September 2021 @ Beit Juhuro

Great Beginnings

We started the Holiday Season with a Sephardic Slichot and Melave Malka event, generously sponsored by the Abramov Family, L’iluy Nishmat their Father, Nathan Tolik Ben Yedidya, and their grandmother, Olga bat Isi at our new location.

It was amazing to do Kaparot and Hatarim Nedarim (annulation of vows) together, learn about Yom Kippur with Rabbi Zitron (recording below), and celebrate Rosh Hashana, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, and Simchat Torah with our Community.

We thank everyone for joining and hope to celebrate many more holidays at Beit Juhuro!

Beit Juhuro would like to thank the following people for sponsoring Kiddush in September:

Svetlana Bas Sonya
The Yevadaev family in honor of the bride and groom Victoria and Simcha Shimon
Ignat Nisuyev
Asher Ashurov

May Hashem bless you and your families with much health and happiness!

On Chol Hamoed Sukkot, Beit Juhuro hosted a Plov party with Lechaims and live music. It was a lot of fun and we were very happy to see everyone! Our ladies baked Challah with Yaffa Ilyaguev and enjoyed a class and a musical session with Polina Isakova. The Challot came out gorgeous and delicious and we captured stunning pictures.

Challah Baking

The Challah baking event was so successful that we had it twice in September.

Classes

In his new series, Rabbi Zitron gave us a better understanding of which questions should be asked when dating and explained what the differences are between being picky vs. actual red flags.

We wish everyone a great Fall!
