According to the Talmud, the commandment of baking challah for Shabbat was one of three commandments assigned to women. Today Jewish ladies are baking challah every week. It’s a great opportunity to pray for whatever you need, make new friends and bring some delicious challa home. Join us in this ancient Jewish tradition as we knead, braid, and bake our way through the spiritual side of challah baking. Beit Juhuro has teamed up with Tovushi Center for this wonderful project.
