February 2022 @ Beit Juhuro

In February we hosted our first in-house Shabbaton in 2 years, expanded our library thanks to generous donations, and learned about Purim, Shalom Bayit, and many other interesting topics.

Great news! Our library is expanding!!! We are grateful to all the sponsors for giving Beit Juhuro the opportunity to acquire more Sefarim and continue learning. Donations towards this great cause are always welcome.

This month we learned how to generate a high level of energy and the history of Gorsky Jews. We had the honor to host Rabbi Aron Avadyaev as our special guest speaker.

The Kiddushim this month were generously sponsored by Lazar Gavrilov Leilu Nishmat Haim Mishi Gavrilov, Shimon Rakhamimov Leilui Nishmat his sister Bilho Bat Elisha, in memory of Rav Ben Pesach, and by Steven Abramov for the blessing of the growth of the community. Thank you very much!

May Hashem bless you and your families with a happy, healthy, and long life.

Our men continued learning about the important topic of Shalom Bayit – peace and happiness in the Jewish home. We made blessings on delicious refreshments in memory of Zaur Danilov’s father Ruvin (Vena) Ben Danil. Thank you for sponsoring. May it be an aliyah to his Neshama!

Rabbi Zitron impressed us again this month with his engaging Shiurim on “The power of gratitude”, “Emunat Chachamim”, and  “Fear: good or bad”.

We also had the pleasure to prepare for Chag Purim together by learning the holiday’s laws as well as the text of Magilat Ester. The class was followed by a traditional Gorsky dinner.

On a very snowy Shabbat this month, for the first time in two years, Beit Juhuro was finally able to host a  Shabbaton again. It was a beautiful, meaningful, and fun Shabbat experience with 40 people in attendance. We prayed together, had an Oneg Shabbat, mingled, played games, listened to inspiring classes, and enjoyed delicious meals. Rabbi Ilyaguev gave a class on the Chodesh Adar and the concept of Simcha. We thank everyone who joined for coming and are looking forward to having many more Shabbatonim at Beit Juhuro in the future.
