January 2020 @ Beit Juhuro

2020 started with the new semester of the STMEGI , RAJE and Beit Juhuro Leadership Fellowship program which we have greatly anticipated for. In the course of the next 17 weeks the students will learn about their Jewish, and Gorsky heritage. They will also acquire hands on tools for impacting the community and becoming true leaders. Rabbi Zitron was the first guest speaker this semester. December 2019 @ Beit Juhuro

  2019 has been a productive year for Beit Juhuro. We captured the memories in this little video:In the last month of 2019, the men finished learning the Book of Nehemya and celebrated with Lechaims and refreshments and the ladies completed the Moshiach series with Rabbi Zitron. November 2019 @ Beit Juhuro

This November Beit Juhuro conducted quite a number of events that we will remember for long! On November 3rd we went to play paintball together. Paintball is a shooting sport, payed in- or outdoors (we did it outdoors) in which the players need to shoot each other with paint capsules to get each other out. Sandwiches, snacks and drinks were served after the game. As you could imagine we had a great time! October 2019 @ Beit Juhuro

October at Beit Juhuro was filled with meaningful speeches, important Jewish holidays and some partying in Gorsky style. We celebrated Jewish New Year,we fasted and prayed on the day of judgement, Yom Kippur,we celebrated Sukkot,we celebrated Simchat Torah, AND conducted a Brachot (blessings) party. From the beginning of Elul until Yom Kippur we recited Selihot, the traditional forgiveness prayers, together at Beit Juhuro. On one midnight after Shabbat we hosted a large, 6th annual Sephardic Sehilot event.
